- The Server Admin position requires:
- Experience with Linux-based servers of 3yrs and more.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP
- Deep knowledge of setting up and maintenance of network-oriented software (httpd, nginx, memcached, bind, iptables, mysql:myisam/innodb, squid)
- Experience in maintaining of remote systems
- Experience with web-hosting control software (CPanel, Plesk Panel, etc)
- Monitoring: nagios, cacti, snmpd
- MTA administration experience
Main responsibilities:
- High-load web-sites configuration and performance optimization
- High-availability and high-load systems configuration, databases replication setup
- Managing a park of server machines.
- Troubleshooting, performance testing and audit
Salary: RD$30,000 - RD$60,000 depending
on experience and skillset.
